Dr Sandeep Gupta, MBBS

Dr Sandeep Gupta, MD

Dr Gupta, MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery — equivalent to MD) is a vocationally registered general practitioner who runs Lotus Holistic Medicine, an integrative medicine clinic on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. His main passion relates to finding the underlying causes and innovated approaches to managing chronic illness. After graduating from medical school at the University of Queensland in Australia in 1999 he worked in the hospital system for ten years before a brush with illness led him to embracing a more holistic model of patient care. His initial approach was heavily dietary and nutritionally oriented but later he came to know of environmentally related illnesses such as mold-related illness, tick-borne disease and heavy metal toxicity. He has now treated over 10,000 patients with environmental illnesses such as these and is passionate to share his knowledge with other practitioners keen to add his tools and tips to their tool kit. In 2017 he established the Lotus Institute of Holistic Health which in addition to Mast Cells Made Simple has launched the online courses Mold Illness Made Simple, EMFs Made Simple and in 2026 the practitioner-focused Mold Illness Mastery.
