Mastery (Practitioner) Courses
General Details
Yes. Upon completion of a Mastery Course, and a short survey, you will be emailed a certificate of completion that you can submit for CE/CPD/CEU credit. See below for an example (signatures purposely blurred):

The Mastery Courses are advanced courses using a hybrid live and on-demand course format.
The Mastery Courses are aimed at health practitioners of all types including doctors, dentists, naturopaths, osteopaths, chiropractors, nutritionists, psychologists, other allied health practitioners and health coaches.
The Mastery Course Portal for students is:
(this is a different link than for the Made Simple courses)
Although primarily for health practitioners, members of the general public who are at an advanced level (ideally have studied one or more of the Made Simple courses) can enroll in a Mastery Course, however, they should not use the live Q&A for specific medical questions about their own health.
Mold Illness Mastery Course
The following Lotus Institute instructors contribute equally to Mold Illness Mastery:
Mold Illness Mastery is a comprehensive practitioner level online course focused on mold-related illnesses, including chronic inflammatory response syndrome (CIRS), dampness and mold hypersensitivity syndrome (DMHS), sick building syndrome, mold toxicity, fungal colonization, and mycotoxicosis.
In general Mold Illness Mastery has approximately 22 hours of video lecture content plus 2-3 hours of live Q&A. Each cohort may have a slight differences in total lecture/Q&A length.
Mold Illness Mastery uses a hybrid format with live and on-demand components:
- Live: 8 weeks of live Zoom sessions comprising key pre-recorded lessons plus a Q&A with both instructors. Duration: 2 hours per week (approximately).
- On-demand: All pre-recorded lessons, plus the Q&A recording, for that week will be available within 24 hours after the live session. Duration: 1-3 hours per week (approximately).
- Bonus modules: These can be watched on-demand at any time. Duration: 5.5 hours.
A student can choose to do a combination of live and on-demand, or if they can’t make the live sessions, on-demand only.
Cohort 3 live session schedule:

Made Simple (Public & Practitioner) Courses
General Details
As of May 2026 the Lotus Institute currently has three Made Simple course currently available for enrollment:
The Made Simple courses are on-demand online courses for both health practitioners (introductory level) and the general public.
Yes. The Lotus Institute is currently developing the following courses for relase in 2026/27:
- Integrative Cancer Made Simple
- Women’s Hormones Made Simple
- Weight Loss Made Simple
Mast Cells Made Simple
Australian physician Dr Olivia Lesslar, MBBS (a medical “Sherlock Holmes”) is the main instructor for Mast Cells Made Simple.
Dr Sandeep Gupta, MBBS is a guest instructor for module 6 on the environmental and toxic drivers of MCAS including mold, heavy metals and man-made chemicals.
Mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) is an emerging condition that sees mast cells, a major player in the human immune system, chronically release mediators (chemicals) which causes a myriad of symptoms. MCAS goes hand-in-hand with other complex chronic illness including mold-related illness, electromagnetic hypersensitivity syndrome (EHS)/electromagnetic (EMF) sensitivity, myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), fibromyalgia, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and more.
Dr Olivia Lesslar, MBBS will explain the role of mast cells in the immune system, what happens when they go awry, and the mechanism of MCAS. She also explains how MCAS is diagnosed and what management and treatment strategies are possible. Dr Sandeep Gupta, MBBS is a guest instructor for module 6, that details the environmental and toxic drivers of MCAS including mold, heavy metals and man-made chemicals.
Mold Illness Made Simple
Lotus Institute founder/director Dr Sandeep Gupta, MBBS (MD) is the instructor for Mold Illness Made Simple.
The Mold Illness Made Simple (Mini-course) is a subset of three modules (module 6, module 7, module 8) taken from the full course. These focus on mold/building inspection, mold remediation, and the maintenance and prevention of water-damaged buildings, respectively.
Mold Illness Made Simple (Full course) is an on-demand online course that covers mold-related illnesses including chronic inflammatory response syndrome (CIRS), also known as dampness and mold hypersensitivity syndrome (DMHS) or sick building syndrome, but also fungal colonization.
It is created by integrative physician Dr Sandeep Gupta, MBBS (MD) it aims to provide health practitioners and the general public with the clarity and confidence to understand and conquer mold-related illness from both a biological — how mold and bacteria and their byproducts found in damp buildings affect the body and how can it be diagnosed and treated? — and environmental (how are water-damaged buildings inspected, tested and remediated) perspective.
EMFs Made Simple
Functional Diagnostic Practitioner (FDN-P) Chris Henderson, is the main instructor for EMFs Made Simple. He explains the history and physics of EMFs, their biological and health effects, including EHS and how they impact other chronic diseases. In module 3 he explains how to test and mitigate your environment for EMFs, so you can reduce exposure. Dr Sandeep Gupta is guest instructor.
Non-native a.k.a. man-made electromagnetic fields (EMFs) are a relatively new phenomenon for planet earth and its plants and animals. There is increasing research that these non-ionizing EMFs can cause oxidative stress and inflammation in humans leading to a plethora of symptoms. They are also associated with other complex chronic diseases, the most obvious being electromagnetic hypersensitivity syndrome (EHS) but also mold-related illness, MCAS, ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, and neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative conditions.
